Gold Flotation

Flotation is one of the most widely used methods to process gold ores, especially suitable for sulfide gold ores with high reproducibility. This method is suitable for processing gold-bearing sulfide ores with fine gold particles and good flotability. In the flotation process, sulfide ores are enriched in sulfide concentrates as gold carriers. Flotation method can also be used to process polymetallic gold-bearing sulfide ores and carbonaceous ores. For insoluble ores which can not be processed directly by mercury mixing or cyanidation, a combined process including flotation is also needed to achieve the best results.

Silver

Predominant Silver mines mainly adopt flotation technology, while the symbiotic and associated silver mostly adopt combined process, such as flotation-gravity separation, flotation-cyanidation process, etc. In order to improve the recovery rate of flotation for predominant silver ores, the following ways can be adopted.

Magnetite

Magnetite is a kind of mineral which is easily beneficiated. Generally, lean iron ores are processed by gravity separation, magnetic separation, flotation and roasting-magnetic separation combined processes, and strong magnetic iron ores are processed by magnetic separation directly. In recent years, the granularity of magnetite has been gradually refined and the requirement of iron concentrate in iron-making industry has been raised. The development of magnetite beneficiation technology has been accelerated and remarkable results have been achieved, including the application of new equipment such as fine screen, magnetic separation column and weak magnetic separation-reverse flotation process. At present, the grade of magnetite concentrate in China has been raised to about 70%, and the silica content has been reduced to 4%. Magnetite separation production line can be applied to single magnetite ore.

Graphite

Flotation is the most widely used method of graphite mineral processing. In addition, according to the different ore properties, electro-separation, gravity separation and combined separation can also be used. The process flow of graphite mineral separation is mainly applicable to various graphite ores with different crystalline forms and graphite ores with silicate minerals such as mica or pyrite.
