The DALI WJD-2 is a 4-ton electric underground LHD for medium-capacity loading in narrow and small mine roadways. A 2 m3 bucket, 1.815 m width and 75 kW IP55 motor make it a balanced choice when production demand has moved beyond compact 3-ton equipment.

WJD-2 serves the middle of DALI’s electric LHD range. Compared with WJD-1.5, it adds 1,000 kg payload and a larger bucket; compared with WJD-3, it retains a narrower, lighter envelope. This makes roadway capacity and target tonnes per shift the central buying decision.
The machine is electric motor driven, but the live page does not define cable management or mine-side connection hardware. Confirm these items in the technical offer and do not describe WJD-2 as battery electric.
The published 4,000 kg payload supports more tonnes per pass than WJD-1.5. Verify loose density and fill factor so a full 2 m3 bucket stays within the rated payload.
Maximum unloading height is listed at 1,740 mm and lift height at 3,975 mm. Check truck-body height, ore-pass edge, approach angle and discharge clearance before selection.
The current page lists a Y280S-4 motor rated at 75 kW, with 220, 380 and 440 V choices. Confirm frequency, power availability, voltage drop, earthing and fault protection for the actual cable length.
Published components include a DANA C270 torque converter, RT32000 gearbox and CMG CY-2J rigid planetary axles. The configuration should be confirmed against the active bill of materials.
The frame articulates 40 degrees and the axle oscillates +/-8 degrees. The page lists four-wheel drive/braking, SAHR brakes, front NO-SPIN and rear anti-slip differentials.
Automatic alarms are listed for oil temperature, oil pressure and the electrical system. Ask for the complete display, isolation, emergency-stop and maintenance-access description.
◆Verify width, height and swept path at every corner and drawpoint.
◆Match payload and bucket to density, fragmentation and truck pass count.
◆Model gradient, haul distance, queueing and target tonnes per shift.
◆Confirm voltage, frequency, connection point and available electrical capacity.
◆Define cable route, handling method, usable reach and protection from traffic.
◆Check dumping height, ground clearance, drainage and recovery access.
◆Specify remote control, fire protection and operator-protection requirements.

WJD-2 offers 4,000 kg payload and a 2 m3 bucket but is 215 mm wider. WJD-1.5 is the stronger choice when access width controls; WJD-2 suits higher cycle demand where the route allows it.
Consider WJD-3 when the roadway supports a 2.1 m-wide, 25-ton laden machine and the production system benefits from 6,000 kg payload.
The page does not specify cable or connection equipment. Ask DALI to define it together with voltage, frequency, cable reach and protection.
Provide roadway and dumping geometry, gradient, haul distance, density, target output, truck model, voltage/frequency, connection location and safety requirements.
